Becas para viajes de investigación y trabajos usando la Colección de Música Popular

Las Becas de la Fundación Díaz-Ayala proporcionará a los estudiantes de postgrado y académicos nacionales e internacionales, la oportunidad de acceder y realizar investigaciones en la Colección de Música Díaz-Ayala en las Bibliotecas de la Universidad Internacional de la Florida (UIF), proporcionando así un acercamiento para investigar en la mayor colección de música popular cubana y mejorado su utilidad como un recurso vital nacional.

ACC, CRI y Bibliotecas UIF están ofreciendo dos premios de investigación y becas de viaje de hasta 1.500 dólares cada uno para compensar los costos de un mínimo de una semana de estancia para utilizar la colección. La financiación cubrirá el viaje durante la primavera y el verano de 2011. Las solicitudes completas deben presentarse en la oficina de IRC (DM 353) no más tardar de las 5:00 P.M., del viernes, 08 de abril de 2011. Las solicitudes incompletas o tardías no serán aceptadas.

The Latin American and Caribbean Center (LACC) and the Cuban Research Institute (CRI) at Florida International University and FIU - Libraries are pleased to announce the 2011 Díaz- Ayala Cuban and Latin American Popular Music Collection Travel Grants. The Díaz-Ayala Travel Grants provide graduate students and scholars with the opportunity to access and conduct research in the Díaz-Ayala Music Collection at FIU Libraries, thereby providing expanded access of the collection’s unique holdings and enhancing its value as a national resource.

LACC, CRI and FIU Libraries are offering two research travel grant awards of up to $1500 each to offset the costs of a minimum one-week stay to use the collection. The current funding cycle will cover travel during the Spring and Summer of 2011. Completed applications are due in the CRI office (DM 353) no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, April 8, 2011. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
